Taraji Henson looked stunning when she stepped out on the red carpet for the 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles yesterday. We’re really glad to see Taraji’s career taking off. We hope to see her in more and more great films.

Tom Joyner goes hard at Beyonce and Jay-Z

Tom Joyner had some rather interesting things to say regarding Beyonce and her new feelings about Jay-Z after singing at the Inauguration. Peep game below.
Tom said that this whole experience is probably going to make a difference with a bunch of folks because they are going to want to do better. Tom then asked him what he thought about all of the inauguration activities. Earthquake said that he loved everything about them but that he noticed that other people were clearly rethinking their choices as well. He said “when Beyonce was crying, she wasn’t crying because of the inauguration itself, she was crying about the fact that she is stuck with a thug.” He said “she knows that she doesn’t have someone like Barack and she was……just looking around thinking about the choices that she’s made.” Read the rest of this entry »

Gov. Rod Blagojevich says he considered giving Oprah Winfrey Barack Obama’s empty senate seat.

Taking his defense to the airwaves rather than his impeachment trial, Gov. Rod Blagojevich lashed out at his accusers Monday and revealed he had considered naming Oprah Winfrey to the Senate.
The embattled governor told ABC that the idea of nominating Winfrey to fill President Barack Obama‘s vacant Senate seat came to him as he explored potential candidates for the job, which federal prosecutors allege he tried to sell to the highest bidder. Read the rest of this entry »
