Jackee Harry is still foxx 2 decades after starring in 227 as the sexy single neighbor. We declare Jackee Harry and Kym Whitley resemble like a muthaphucka. Jackee was strutting herself at the 11th Annual GBC Toast & Roast honoring Marla Gibbs and Hal Williams. For those who don’t know, Marla portrayed “Florence” on The Jeffersons and “Mary Jenkins” on the hit 80′s show 227. The old shows were so dope! More images when you Read the rest of this entry »

James From Good Times
Posted by Media Outrage on November 14, 2008
John Amos who played the hell out of James Evans on Good Times hit up some arts center in NYC. Even though James Evans died like 9 different times and ways LOL on Good Times it was still one of the best shows to ever grace a TV screen. Glynn Turner who played the colonel on A Different World was also in the building. In Beverly Hills, Ben Vereen attended a movie premiere looking rather chunky.

Blast from the past

Big Daddy Kane hit up the tribute to Patti LaBelle over the weekend. It’s been a minute since we’ve seen Kane on anyone’s scene. Damn we miss that high top fade. Kane definitely used to get busy and is one of the best to ever pick up a mic. It’s just ashame that the rappers of the 80′s and early 90′s didn’t have the marketing opportunities that the ones of today have.

Remember at one point Billy Dee Williams was the status for male beauty??? Then Denzel came along and ended that run and for a second we thought Morris Chestnut would take the crown but given the fact that he can’t act to save his let alone anyone else’s life his luster is quickly fading. Anyway Billy Dee Williams was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award on Monday at the Hoboken International Film Festival.
