Diana Ross, Patti LaBelle, Chaka Khan, and Gladys Knight all performed in NY yesterday at Radio Music Hall for the “Divas With Heart” benefit in which they brought Sean Bell’s mother Valerie Bell on stage which was very nice and touching. We’re glad to see stars reaching out to the family of Sean Bell since justice was not given a few weeks ago when all 3 officers were acquitted of all charges for murdering Sean Bell. Chaka Khan ordered to pay $1.3million

Chaka Khan and son Damien Holland have been ordered to pay more than $1.3million to the family of a teenager killed in Chaka Khan’s home by Damien.

Holland, 29, was acquitted of 17-year-old Christopher Bailey’s murder after a jury trial in ’06, but the teen’s parents filed suit against Chaka Khan, Holland, Chaka’s mother and the singer’s company, according to the Los Angeles paper the Daily Breeze.

During the trial, Khan’s son admitted to shooting Bailey in the face with an M-16 assault rifle on Sept. 24, 2004.
