He’s back at it

It didn’t take long for Don Imus to expose his racist point of view. Monday on his radio show he and sports announcer Warner Wolf were conversing about Pac Man Jones changing his name. Listen Here.

The dialogue:

Wolf: “Defensive back Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones, recently signed by the Cowboys. Here’s a guy suspended all of 2007 following a shooting in a Vegas night club.”
Imus: “Well, stuff happens. You’re in a night club, for God’s sake. What do you think’s gonna happen in a night club? People are drinking and doing drugs, there are women there, and people have guns. So, there, go ahead.”

Wolf: “He’s also been arrested six times since being drafted by Tennessee in 2005.”

Imus:”What color is he?”

Wolf:”He’s African-American.”

Imus: “Well, there you go. Now we know.”

Imus is back.

Don Imus returned to the airwaves Monday eight months after he was fired for a racially charged remark about the Rutgers women’s basketball team, and introduced a new cast that included two black comedians.

Imus’ lineup of guests featured two presidential hopefuls, Democrat Chris Dodd and Republican John McCain. As he did several times in the days after the episode, Imus condemned his controversial remark last spring and said he had learned his lesson.

“I didn’t see any point in going on some sort of `Larry King’ tour to offer a bunch of lame excuses for making an essentially reprehensible remark about innocent people who did not deserve to be made fun of,” he said Monday during his debut on WABC-AM.

Again, Imus apologized to the basketball players and called the ensuing furor a “life-changing experience.”

“I will never say anything in my lifetime that will make any of these young women at Rutgers regret or feel foolish that they accepted my apology and forgave me,” he said. “And no one else will say anything else on my program that will make anyone think that I didn’t deserve a second chance.“

His debut Monday completed a comeback that seemed improbable at the height of the uproar last spring over his calling the players “nappy-headed hos.” CBS Radio fired him on April 12, pulling the plug on his “Imus In the Morning” program that had aired on more than 70 stations and the MSNBC cable network.

State Rep Carla Dartez calls her black supporter BuckWeat!!! How racist is this!!!

A state representative in a runoff election infuriated civil rights leaders after she ended a conversation with the mother of the NAACP’s local president by saying, “Talk to you later, Buckwheat.”

State Rep. Carla Blanchard Dartez, of Morgan City, acknowledged she made the remark during a Thursday night telephone conversation with Hazel Boykin to thank her for driving voters to the polls.

Buckwheat, a black child character in the “Little Rascals” comedies of the 1930s and ’40s, is viewed as a racial stereotype demeaning to black people.

“I made an insensitive comment when speaking with Hazel Boykin, and I have apologized to the Boykin family and publicly for my choice of words,” Dartez said in a statement. “I have a strong record of fighting for issues important to the African American community; in fact, I have a 93 percent voting record with the Black Caucus.”

And she is still running??? She’s a racist. Between her, Kramer, Don Imus, Bill O’Reilly, Bill O’Reilly, Bill O’Reilly, Bill O’Reilly, and Dog Duane Chapman, soon they’re going to need to form a KKK-unit for public officials and celebrities. She needs a good A-Town stomping by Bishop Thomas Weeks right about now….

Damon Wayans agrees with Don Imus!

Damon Wayans was on the View talking about the Don Imus controversy.

Here’s what he had to say:

“Freedom of speech, what happened to that? What happened to expressing yourself?”

“At least I know where he stands. And you know what? When he called them nappy-headed ho’s, I went, ‘Wow, he’s right!‘ “

“Black people at home are laughing right now,” he said. “White people are going, ‘That’s not right!’ It’s all cultural.”

Don Imus is back.

The “Nappy-headed ho caller” is back on WABC radio.

After being fired last spring from CBS (nyse: CBS – news – people ) Radio and General Electric‘s (nyse: GE – news – people ) NBC television after he made disparaging remarks about the Rutgers women’s basketball team, it really hasn’t been a question of if, but rather, when, and where, he would resume his career.

Now, according to reports, the revitalized Imus in the Morning program will debut on Dec. 3 on WABC in New York City. The station is the flagship home of conservative talk show hosts Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham and Bob Grant.

Here’s what it’s all about right here folks…

“As popular as he was for years, more people know him now than ever before. The question is whether he’ll have to tone himself down so much that he loses the edginess that vaulted him to stardom in the first place. It’s a fine line to walk, for sure.” – Yep that money! Imus would have never been fired if you ask me, not until the advertisers started pulling out their bankrolls did the station give him his walking papers. Morals they don’t exist in the corporate world only money….
