A Chicago police officer has been suspended for 15 months for demanding free coffee and baked goods from six different Starbucks.

Officer Barbara Nevers, a 14-year veteran, has also been ordered to undergo counseling.

The Police Board ruled in May that 55-year-old Nevers intimidated Starbucks employees by screaming at them and flashing her badge, handcuffs or gun when they wanted her to pay. The board released its findings Thursday.

Nevers’ attorney says her client never used her job to demand coffee. She says some coffeehouses gave it to her for free because she was an officer.

Mediaoutrage- Sure she never did and Starbucks is just lying for no reason. SMH at her only being suspended. Get rid of that pig before she pulls someone over and gets trigger happy by lighting up the vehicle with more shots than the night Kobe scored 81.

More Police Brutality Caught On Tape

All we can do is shake our heads in amazement that this officer still has a badge and has been put on desk duty pending the outcome of the investigation. Do you really need to investigate after seeing this New York Police officer violently knock a cyclist off of his bike without cause?

Police stripped a New York City officer of his badge and gun Monday after a video posted on YouTube showed him body-checking a bicyclist who was part of a Times Square demonstration.

The video was recorded Friday at the Critical Mass ride, a monthly protest of urban reliance on vehicles.

This still isn’t enough

The very corrupt NYPD is now taking steps to punish the 7 cops that were involved in the Sean Bell murder. Yes murder, let’s not use any euphemisms as certain mainstream media outlets do in an attempt to justify what happened, just because these pigs were acquitted by an obvious corrupt, dirty, judge who didn’t mind perverting justice. It was definitely cold blooded murder and these cats should have gotten life in prison for taking this man’s life. In our opinion since civilians get the chair for killing cops, these pigs in like manner should definitely get the death penalty when they murder innocent civilians. Anyway back to this story that boils our blood here.

The three cops cleared of killing Sean Bell on his wedding day – and four others involved in the tragic shooting – were hit Tuesday with NYPD disciplinary charges.

Detectives Marc Cooper, Gescard Isnora, and Michael Oliver, who were acquitted on April 25, showed up at Police Headquarters separately and were led into a room where they were handed a sheet of paper with the charges on them – and told to sign them.

Each was accused of firing their weapons outside of NYPD departmental guidelines – charges that could result in their being fired, police brass said.
