Former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich was indicted on 19 counts, for trying to play auction man, with Barack Obama’s, vacant Senator seat.

Ousted Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s plan to auction off President Barack Obama‘s vacant U.S. Senate seat marked the culmination of years of scheming for personal gain that included trying to extort a congressman and pressuring businesses to hire his wife, prosecutors alleged Thursday.

A sweeping 19-count federal indictment alleges that Blagojevich discussed with aides the possibility of getting a Cabinet post in the new president’s administration, substantial fundraising assistance or a high-paying job in exchange for the Senate seat.

Prosecutors also accused Blagojevich and members of his inner circle of plotting to line their pockets with millions of dollars in ill-gotten gains. They are accused of squeezing contractors, hospital owners and others seeking state business for kickbacks they planned to split after the governor left office.

Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, was arrested today for allegedly trying to sell President-Elect Barack Obama’s vacant Senate seat to the highest bidder. SMH.

Federal authorities arrested Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich Tuesday on charges that he brazenly conspired to sell or trade the Senate seat left vacant by President-elect Barack Obama to the highest bidder.

Blagojevich also was charged with illegally threatening to withhold state assistance to Tribune Co., the owner of the Chicago Tribune, in the sale of Wrigley Field, according to a federal criminal complaint. In return for state assistance, Blagojevich allegedly wanted members of the paper’s editorial board who had been critical of him fired.

Lou Pearlman the man who not only created boy band group N’Sync, but also seems to possess more chins than their are US cities is having his measurements faxed to the jumpsuit knitting department for money laundering and let’s just say fraud on mad levels.

ORLANDO, Fla. – Lou Pearlman, the man who created the Backstreet Boys and ‘N Sync, was sentenced Wednesday to 25 years in federal prison for engineering a decades-long scam that bilked thousands of investors out of their life savings.

It was the maximum sentence the boy band mogul could receive for allegedly swindling some $300 million from investors and banks since the early 1980s.

FARGO, N.D. – A flight attendant angry about his work route smuggled a lighter aboard an airplane and set a fire in a bathroom, forcing an emergency landing, authorities said Thursday.

The Compass Airlines flight carrying 72 passengers and four crew members landed safely in Fargo on May 7 after smoke filled the back. No injuries were reported. The plane was flying from Minneapolis to Regina, Saskatchewan, authorities said.

Man arrested for trying to cash $360 billion check

Yes we know this sounds ridiculous but just keep on reading.

FORT WORTH, Texas – Charles Ray Fuller must have been planning one big record company. The 21-year-old North Texas man was arrested last week for trying to cash a $360 billion check, saying he wanted to start a record business. Tellers at the Fort Worth bank were immediately suspicious — perhaps the 10 zeros on a personal check tipped them off.

Fuller, of suburban Crowley, was arrested on a forgery charge. He was released after posting $3,750 bail.

Fuller said his girlfriend’s mother gave him the check to start a record business. But bank employees who contacted the account’s owner said the woman told them she did not give him permission to take or cash the check.

In addition to the forgery count, Fuller was charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon and possessing marijuana. Officers reported finding less than two ounces of marijuana and a .25-caliber handgun and magazine in his pockets.

$80,000 for some ass

That’s right folks NY’s Governor Eliot Spitzer who has been tough on crime and stood behind a cabinet that put plenty of paying customers in jail for the ‘illegal’ act of soliciting prostitutes, has racked up an astronomical $80,000 in p*ssy payments. It is reported that ol Gov. was paying $5,000 an hour to get his swerve on. Why didn’t he just recommend legislation that would make over priced hooking legal??? Any how he needs to definitely step down as Gov. and face the music to the tune of prison. Because if you have stood firm on sending desperate paying ‘johns’ away then you need to do time also. Somebody please get his jump-suit ready. Then again he’s Gov. and has some major stacks and a few high priced lawyers so he’ll probably just get scolded by the judge and be asked to turn over his black book with those high priced hookers in it and 5minutes of community service in which he proclaims how wrong high-priced hooking is.

Lil’ Wayne arrested for drug possession

Some cats just love jail. Wayne must be one of them because TMZ is reporting that he was arrested Tuesday for drug possession.

“Law enforcement officials tell us Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Carter Jr., was arrested near Yuma, Arizona last night on three felony counts: possession of dangerous drugs, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. Cops tell TMZ that the Drug Enforcement Agency was involved in the arrest — which means it’s a big deal! We’re told Lil’ Wayne’s tour bus went through a US Border Patrol checkpoint when the narcotics were allegedly found, that’s when the DEA was called in.

Wayne is currently in the custody of the Yuma County Sheriff’s Department, where he’ll be held pending his arraignment at 9:00 AM PT.”
