Insanely Sexy

Posted by Media Outrage on June 3, 2008

Ashanti did an interview for Mens Health Magazine. Her photos are insanely sexy. We know that photographer probably had to take a few bathroom breaks. Here fourth album “The Declaration” hit stores today. We grabbed these photos from here.

What does she crave the most? A deep connection. “If you’ve been with someone for a while, you should be able to know what that person is thinking,” says Ashanti. “If she says, ‘Oh, it’s cool,’ don’t think it’s really cool. Give it a little thought. If your gut tells you she might be holding back, then ask her.”

Such initiative would win her over, Ashanti says. “I like a very masculine man’s man,” she adds. “I like to hold hands. If I’m going somewhere, I like a man who leads the way.”

CFDA Fashion Awards

Posted by Media Outrage on June 3, 2008

Lil Kim was looking nice as she hit up the CFDA Fashion Awards yesterday in NY. We just want Surgical Addiction to give the knife a rest, or at least let us get used to the latest face for a good year before they make the switch. Paula Patton (who one of our readers said looks white sometimes and then black others lol) was looking her regular beautiful self. Diddy, LL, Tony Parker wife Eva Longoria, and Eva Mendes all stopped through the festivities.

Queen Latifah was spotted relaxing with longtime trainer and special “friend” Jeanette on Miami Beach. Queen is still adding to her impressive brand, and is set to launch a new line of perfume that should hit stores in 2009. Great to see people utilize their business acumen.

Cuff Daddy

Posted by Media Outrage on June 3, 2008

The man of a 1,000 name changes is a little peeved that a website named which sells cuff links is too similar to his former alias Puff Daddy. Diddy has put his high priced attorneys on the case and the owner of the site and business says he just wants to resolve the issue as soon as possible. He says he will post a disclaimer on the site to clear up any confusion. No Bitchassness.

Lisa Van Allen testifies against Kellz

Posted by Media Outrage on June 3, 2008

Lisa Van Allen has taken the stand to testify against R.Kelly in this child pornography case. Here are the detatils…..

Via Suntimes:

R&B superstar R. Kelly carried a duffel bag filled with homemade sex videotapes wherever he went, a woman testified Monday.

While making one such tape, Kelly cut off the filming when the woman — Lisa Van Allen — started crying during three-way sex with an underage girl, Van Allen testified.

“He got upset and said he couldn’t watch that. He couldn’t do anything with that, with me crying. He stopped the camera,” Van Allen said.

The tapes Kelly liked went with him to his recording studio, to his favorite basketball gym — Hoops on the near West Side — and to video shoots, she said.

“Wherever he was at, the [duffel] bag would follow,” Van Allen said. Read the rest of this entry »

Usher speaks on his mom

Posted by Media Outrage on June 3, 2008

Usher spoke about him firing his mom…

Via Eurweb:

*Usher wants to make it clear that he did not fire his mother as his manager just days before Mother’s Day last year. He simply “retired her,” the singer says in Vibe magazine’s July issue.

He admits to having disagreements with his mom, Jonetta Patton, over what he felt was her lack of support. (Their fall out led to her skipping his wedding to Tameka Foster last August.) But he says the separation from his mother was necessary for his mother’s own sake.

“(I paid her) the ultimate compliment — to retire her to be a full-time grandmother,” said Usher, whose son with Foster is just over 6-months-old. “My mother and I decided to change her situation. There was a conversation. I didn’t write her a letter or pink slip her.”

The 29-year-old star admits the split was hard for him, but necessary for his career: “I hurt more than anything over these last two years when I felt my mother didn’t really embrace my situation. My mother is an aggressive person. She makes hard decisions, and she caused me to make a hard decision as well.”

Mediaoutrage– So it sounds like she wasn’t trying to let Tameka run things so she had to go. When he says his mom didn’t really embrace his situation he must be talking about his wife.

It’s finally over yall!

Posted by Media Outrage on June 3, 2008

As we reported a while ago and kept reporting that not even if Superman was real could he save Hillary’s campaign, well it’s official now. Sen. Barack Obama will become the first African American to win the Democratic ticket in a Presidential race. Word is Hillary Clinton is supposed to make a speech tonight in New York in which she gracefully bows out of the race and will support Barack.

Via Huffingtonpost:

Hillary Clinton has summoned top donors and backers to attend her New York speech tomorrow night in an unusual move that is being widely interpreted to mean she plans to soon suspend her campaign and endorse Barack Obama – not tomorrow night but within a day or two.

Obama and Clinton spoke Sunday night and agreed that their staffs should begin negotiations over post-primary activities, according to reliable sources. In addition to seeking Obama’s help in raising money to pay off some $20 million-plus in debts, Clinton is known to want Obama to assist black officials who endorsed her and who are now taking constituent heat, including, in some cases, primary challenges from pro-Obama politicians.
