Out and About

Posted by Media Outrage on July 17, 2008

The gorgeousness that is Halle Berry was spotted yesterday afternoon running some errands in the Hollywood Hills area and doing a little shoe shopping. Once again its hard to catch her on a bad looking day. Awe shucks and her bodyguard decided to throw some shades over that cyclops thing he had going on. Kudos bodyguard. We can’t wait to see Halle take her rightful place back on the big screen. What are some of your favorite Halle films? And will Halle ever reach Angela Bassetts caliber of acting?

Miss U.K.

Posted by Media Outrage on July 17, 2008

Miss Kelly aka “Bleek” seems to be earning herself another moniker here on Mediaoutrage. We think Miss UK is appropriate given all of the damn time she is spending over there. We know she recently brought a crib over there and being that the number of cashiers in a single Wal-Mart could account for her total album sales maybe its a good idea to establish another fan base who is oblivious to her seemingly permanent “Bleek” status over here in the States. Nah but we really wish Miss UK all the best, we just don’t wanna see her blow through them stacks by being Miss America over that mutha f**ka.

Ashanti Video- “Good Good”

Posted by Media Outrage on July 17, 2008

This is Ashanti’s newest video from her second single on her album. The video “Good Good” is pretty hot in our opinion. All we can say is Ashanti put the damn exy in Sexy. We know Nelly be borrowing crow bars, steering wheel clubs, Naughty By Nature signature bats and all just to beat that sh*t up. Fellas check out the video but listen keep them hands where we can see em! LOL

The Ischia Global Film and Music Festival

Posted by Media Outrage on July 17, 2008

Terrence Howard aka Quinton Spivey from The Best Man took home an award last night in Italy at the Ischia Global Film and Music Festival. After yesterday’s revelations it makes you appreciate how hard some people have worked to attain the success that they now have. As we always ask about this time, where do you rank Terrence’s acting skills? Is he in the same category as a Will Smith or Denzel Washington? Or are we out of our damn minds for even posing a question like that? Name your favorite Terrence Howard film. We know ours. The Best Man. Oh yea Rosario Dawson was also spotted at the Festival.

….that raindrops would fall. Leon better known as JT from The 5 Heartbeats attended a party for singer Ryan Leslie last night in NY. Is it us or does the cat Ryan Leslie look like the dude from digital underground from back in the day? Maybe its the serious hot dog hanging off his grill piece.

Make A Wish

Posted by Media Outrage on July 17, 2008

The Queen of Fab Kimora Lee Simmons joined up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and threw a luncheon a few excited girls at the American Girl Place in NY yesterday. We’re definitely feeling Kimora’s dress. Her adorable daughters Ming and Aoki Lee were by her side for the event. Kimora’s publicist Keesha Johnson was also on hand for the festivities.

Hardest Working Woman In Showbiz

Posted by Media Outrage on July 17, 2008

Tyra Banks aka Lil’ Oprah has been named the hardest working woman in showbiz by Parade Magazine. They selected Tyra over Ryan Seacrest, Oprah Winfrey, and many other big names. Interesting but congrats to Tyra because we’re sure she works extremely hard to manage all of her many business ventures including America’s Next Top Model.

Let’s just forgive and forget

Posted by Media Outrage on July 17, 2008

The ever so corrupt FoxNews has released information to the Associated Press saying that Rev. Jesse Jackson used the N word while off camera when he criticized Barack Obama and said that he wanted to cut his nuts off.

Via Yahoo:

In additional comments from that same conversation, first reported by TVNewser, Jackson is reported to have said Obama was “talking down to black people,” and referred to blacks with the N-word when he said Obama was telling them “how to behave.”

Jackson — who is traveling in Spain — apologized in a statement Wednesday for “hurtful words” but didn’t offer specifics.

“I am deeply saddened and distressed by the pain and sorrow that I have caused as a result of my hurtful words. I apologize again to Senator Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, their children as well as to the American public,” Jackson said in a written statement. “There really is no justification for my comments and I hope that the Obama family and the American public will forgive me. I also pray that we, as a nation, can move on to address the real issues that affect the American people.”

A spokeswoman for Jackson’s civil rights organization, Rainbow/PUSH Coalition, said she could not confirm that Jackson used the slur.
