Hostage Negotiator To John Legend: Please Let Your Nutz Go!

Posted by Media Outrage on December 7, 2008

John Legend performed in Philly on Friday, in pants tight enough to literally choke air to death. We’re willing to bet that we’ll never catch him rockin’ a pair of Rocawear jeans. Them thangs (his enslaved nutz) might head north and never return back to the plantation. We respect John’s music game though, we just wish he would get another tailor. You know, one that isn’t probably as sweet as he is. smh.

M.O. Reader: I wanted to beat Countess Vaughn’s Ass!

We recieved an interesting email this morning from one of our readers about her experience a few years ago when she met washed up actress Countess Vaughn. Here’s what our reader tells us about her encounter with Countess:

Hi MediaOutrage Staff,

I love the site and read it every morning at work. You guys even got me checking it out on Saturdays and Sundays ( i feel like a sinner lol). I wanted to share with you an experience that I had with actress Countess Vaughn years ago when she was still on the Parkers. Her career is nothing now and it serves her right because she is a rude b*tch.

I was in Philly years ago at Fridays with my niece who was 9 at the time, and we saw Countess dining with a few of her friends and my niece kept asking me to take her to her table to get an autograph. I didn’t want to because I hate to look like a star struck fan and plus I wasn’t cause she was a nobody to me. But I took my niece over to her table and spoke to everyone and introduced my niece and told her that she was a huge fan of Countess’ Read the rest of this entry »

Press Conference

Posted by Media Outrage on December 7, 2008

Rosario Dawson and Will Smith hit up the Beverly Hills’ Four Seasons, for the “Seven Pounds” press conference. Both Rosario and Will were clad down in a pretty pink. The clips of the movie look pretty good. Then again, it’s a Will Smith flick, what did we expect? If you the casting director, would you have chosen another leading lady to play Will’s love interest? And if so, who?

Damn Mike

It was brought to our attention that several years ago Charles Barkely said that while he and Michael Jordan were still playing in the league, that one day they were out and about and a homeless man asked Barkely for some money, and Charles gave the man some money. Jordan in turn chided Barkley saying “you shouldn’t have given him any money because the same way he could beg for money he can also say hi may I take your order at Wendys.”

All we can say is that’s some cold ish right there Mike. Thanks for the tip Jamal.

A Hot Scorching Mess x 29

mariah-e1

Earlier today Mariah Carey headed over to the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, for the “Tennessee” press conference. She was looking a HOT SCORCHING MESS. Mariah is really looking paler than usual these days. Even though she has denied being pregnant, we think she’s straight up knocked up. Something just doesn’t look right with Ms. Divalicious. But, we shall see in the next few months.

solange

Solange performed during the 2008 Cosmopolitan Magazine Star Launch Concert Friday night at the Terminal in NYC. Matthew Knowles is never slipping when it comes to getting his daughters the proper exposure necessary to keep furthering their careers. Ashame he hasn’t been as successful with Michelle and Kelly. Then again it’s not like Solange could sell out Madison Square Garden either so oh well.

Enuff To Make A Dying Priest Love Women

Posted by Media Outrage on December 7, 2008

ashanti-e

She’s a Brick-House! Sing along with us…. The banger that is the solidly thick Ashanti did an insanely sexy spread for Black Men magazine, something every brotha in prison needs a few copies of. When you take photos like these, who cares about talent? So what if your live performances sound like Tony Montana screaming while getting sprayed with bullets. No one with 20/20 can deny this woman’s sexiness. For more eye candy Read the rest of this entry »

Taye Diggs threw on a black suit with a pretty colorful bow tie for an event in Beverly Hills last week. Rick Fox also stepped out to the event looking just a bit aged since his Lakers days.

Christina Milian was spotted leaving Foxtail restaurant in West Hollywood last week. It’s always a delight to lay eyes on this certified cutie-pie, although it would be even nicer to see her land a job or something.

T.I.: I’m Not Trippin’

Posted by Media Outrage on December 7, 2008

T.I. spoke about his on going beef with Shawtie Lo.

Via MTV:

“We spoke,” Tip said. “I don’t know what that conversation meant. Shortly after we spoke … I felt that that conversation, those words, weren’t upheld. It was just a lot of nonsense. There’s no place in my life for that. There was a time in my life where I wanted no more than to indulge in that kind of activity. I went around looking for it, welcoming it. Now, I just done blown way past that. There’s no place in my life for it. What I told him really was, ‘I’m not trippin’.’ ”

Tip and Lo have been going back-and-forth on record for more than a year, mainly over Lo’s jabs that Tip really isn’t from the ‘hood he claims to be from: Bankhead.

“It’s been over for me,” Tip said. “I’m looking way past this. I got way too much stuff that I’m involved in, that I’m looking forward to, to even be bothered with it. I wish you the best. Go do your thing. Peace unto everyone.” Read the rest of this entry »
