Lil’ Kim hit up LuxuryFashion.com’s “Faces of Fashion Week” soiree in NYC yesterday. We must say that Miss Surgical Addiction looked pretty elegant on the carpet. Being that this is like her 27th different grill piece they should introduce legislation making it illegal to get another one.

Chris Brown goes after Mel Gibson’s Guy

Posted by Media Outrage on February 18, 2009

Chris Brown’s camp is on the hunt to turn this public relations disaster into something a little more Rosy. They have hired Mel Gibson’s publicist, Alan Nierob to represent Chris and clean up this nightmare. For those who don’t know, Nierob, is the same person Gibson went to after he landed in deep sh*t for spewing off anti-Semitic remarks during a police stop for DUI, which fueled a media man-hunt. Another huge public relations company was said to have turned down Brown’s request for representation. Now that he has landed a P.R. powerhouse, what happens next should be very interesting.

Muslim TV Founder Accused of Beheading His Wife

Posted by Media Outrage on February 18, 2009

couple

People be crazy for real. This man has been accused of beheading his wife.

Via Yahoo:

The crime drips with brutal irony: a woman decapitated, allegedly by her estranged husband, in the offices of the television network the couple founded with the hope of countering Muslim stereotypes.

Muzzammil “Mo” Hassan is accused of beheading his wife last week, days after she filed for divorce. Authorities have not discussed the role religion or culture might have played, but the slaying gave rise to speculation that it was the sort of “honor killing” more common in countries half a world away, including the couple’s native Pakistan.

Funeral services for Aasiya Hassan, 37, were Tuesday. Her 44-year-old husband is scheduled to appear for a felony hearing Wednesday.

The Hassans lived in Orchard Park — a well-off Buffalo suburb that hadn’t seen a homicide since 1986 — and started Bridges TV there in 2004 with the message of developing understanding between North America and the Middle East and South Asia. The network, available across the U.S. and Canada, was believed to be the first English-language cable station aimed at the rapidly growing Muslim demographic. Read the rest of this entry »
