The World Says Goodbye To MJ

Yesterday the world had its opportunity to really say goodbye to Michael Jackson.  Family, friends, and fans alike paid tremendous tribute to the greatest entertainer of all time.  In a very touching last words, his daughter Paris spoke about how great a father he was and how much she loved him.  They sent him off like the King he was.  That memorial service was so on point.  Rev. Al Sharpton delivered a very fitting speech in which he thanked Michael.

R.I.P. to the Greatest Entertainer Ever….

The whole memorial was very touching and heartfelt but, when Paris got up there I almost lost it. I was in the babershop too like, “oh shit, if I start tearing these dudes gon clown me so hard” It took everything I had to hold it back cuz. R.I.P Mike Jack.

The service couldn’t have been any more perfect. I just feel so bad for his kids and his family. And by the way, why the hell was Kim Kardashian there? Media whore!!!

There were some funny moments and truly sad one. [see twit page].

Mariah Cracky- did not do well, but overall i was pleased with the service. MJ would be pleased, BET take notes.

That was definately how you HONOR someone.

Quote of the day. “Wasn’t nothing strange about your daddy. It was strange what your daddy had to deal with.” Rev Al Sharpton ((STANDING OVATION))

  5. Take this how you will…but I’m glad this memorial is finally over, so that the world can somewhat get back to normal. I mean I loved MJ just as much, maybe more, than other people, but all of this media coverage has been emotionally draining for me. I’ve actually been afraid to watch certain stations because I feared that they would should an MJ tribute and I will cry…again. Can’t even listen to the radio…I never thought I would say this…but I really want to hear some damn Gucci Mane!!!!

Hopefully after this week the media will go back to talking about Heidi and Spencer, the Kardashians, and all other useless celebrities….

@Lee… the reason why the Kardashians were there maybe was because they were fans…that’s just me. Kim did have her 14th b day party at Neverland Ranch (info via Twitter). If that’s the case, why was all his other fans there? Why was it televised. This is not the time to speculate….

Man I cried like a baby , and I was at work too. It help me a lot, feels good to let the pain out of your body. You can’t keep this pain inside man, it hurts too much… So all i’m sayibng is if you feel like crying, then go ahead and cry..it’s normal…

Very dignified and beautiful. I still can’t believe MJ is no longer with us. I must say his family sent MJ off in style.

    I finally finished it!

God it was hard. Never thought I’d feel this way about a celebrity.

Al Sharpton made me proud of him again. That man really spoke! Almost had church! I definitely loved, “Wasn’t nothing strange about your daddy. It was strange what your daddy had to deal with” because it was so true. And I hope Mike’s kids took that to heart.

I also enjoyed all the performances.

  13. That was definitely much better than the crap BET claimed was in his honor.

Everyone at my job stopped working for the length of the memorial. It was so touching. Blessings to his children and I hope the custody battle doesn’t wear heavy on them
