Ahmad Rashad took in the Celtics vs Hawks game on Friday night in Philips Arena. Ex-Heavyweight Champion Evander Holyfield, was also in the building enjoying the contest. We just hope he never climbs back into another boxing ring again, because getting your brains beat out after the age of 40, is just not the business. He was one of the greats that just doesn’t know when to quit and hang it up. You can add Roy Jones Jr. to that list. Infact Roy’s on top of that list. Atlanta Falcons’ Roddy White and Polow Da Don were also in the building taking in the action.

Evander Holyfield has finally paid $9,000 owed to his son’s mother for child support.
Randy Kessler, attorney for Toi Irvin of Clayton County, said he was going to ask the judge to send Holyfield to jail at a Friday contempt hearing if he hadn’t provided the money.
“He got the message, I think,” Kessler said. “He knows he is the former heavyweight champion of the world and a lot of people will not step up to him. He knows this is one thing that not only should he do but he’s got to do.”
The payment — Holyfield is obligated to provide $3,000 a month — will protect Irvin and her son’s home from foreclosure.
Holyfield also agreed to make timely child support payments, reinstate the boy’s heath insurance, cover an unpaid private school bill and ensure that a college trust fund is in place, Kessler said.
Holyfield has until Sept. 1 to fulfill the obligations or face another hearing, Kessler said. Irvin had sought the hearing in superior court in Fayette County, where Holyfield lives.
Mediaoutrage– That child support is definitely something that you want to stay up on, because the law will throw you behind bars quicker than a black man making a crack sale in a school zone. Do any of you feel that wealthy male celebrities pay too much in child support and spousal support?

Evander Holyfield is denying the reports that he is experiencing financial woes.
“I’m not broke. I’m just not liquid. I do feel kind of sad because things have always been positive and now everybody wants to jump on me like I’m the worst person in the world and I went out and blew all my money.”
On alleged back child support….
Meanwhile, there were also headlines last week that Toi Irvin, mother of Holyfield’s 10-year-old son Evan, filed a petition for contempt in Fayette Superior Court, claiming the “Real Deal” is behind on his child support payments.
“I would’ve liked to have seen him take care of his child support obligations before worrying about his house,” said Irvin’s attorney Randy Kessler, who expects a court date to be scheduled within 30 days. “If he hasn’t made the proper arrangements by then, we’ll ask that he be incarcerated.”
“Never — I would never do something like that. That’s been a consistency in my whole life. I have always taken care of my children. It’s just one of the mothers who’s saying something because she thinks it will embarrass me. I just have to roll with the punches in this situation.”
Mediaoutrage– We would only hope that someone who has made more than $150million in his career would not be destitute of funds.

Evander Holyfield seems to be experiencing money woes. His Georgia mansion that sits on 235 acres has fallen into foreclosure.
A legal notice published in a local paper showed Holyfield’s sprawling 235-acre estate in Fayette County is set to be auctioned on July 1 by Washington Mutual Bank, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Meanwhile, Toi Irvin, the mother of one of Holyfield’s 11 children, says the boxing legend skipped two child-support payments – for May and June – totaling $6,000. The Clayton County resident filed a petition for contempt in Fayette County Superior Court on behalf of her 10-year-old son after she was told by Holyfield’s reps not to expect the May and June payments.
Holyfield is also being sued by a Utah consulting company for failing to repay a $550,000 loan. The lawsuit, filed 15 days ago in U.S. District Court in Salt Lake City, said Holyfield borrowed the funds to pay for landscaping on his estate.
Mediaoutrage– That crib is off the chain.
