Last night more than 125,000 people were outside at Grant Park in Chicago as Barack Obama sailed way past 270 electoral votes to become the 44th President of the United States. Amongst those 125,000 elated citizens was Oprah Winfrey, Jesse Jackson, Hill Harper, Will i am, and Spike Lee. From day one Oprah was one of President Barack Obama’s most avid supporters. She used her everything except her show platform to add feul to his campaign. So it goes without saying that last night was a very proud moment for her. Congrats President Obama! We here at Mediaoutrage salute you!
In what is part 3 of our interview with Ice-T, he speaks in depth about the very heated political race. Being that our interview with Ice took place while Hillary Clinton was still a factor he revealed that he actually was supporting her at first, but then after hearing Barack speak, quickly jumped ship. Ice touches on Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Jesse Jackson’s hate, and the possibility of having a black president. With only a few hours standing in between you and the election we thought this very appropriate. Enjoy……
D.L. Hughley will finally be able to remove his career off of the ventilator machine. It seems that CNN has struck up a deal with Mr. Hughley to launch his own news show. This is good for D.L. cause the career doctors were rushing to his room screaming “CODE F*CKING BLUE!!!”
CNN is teaming with comedian D.L. Hughley to produce a weekly news-based comedy show in an attempt to capture a younger demographic.

Yesterday thousands of people gathered and packed into the House of Hope church in Chicago to say goodbye to Bernie Mac a true legend. Jesse Jackson, Steve Harvey, Chris Rock, Cedric The Entertainer, comedian George Wallace, Bruce Bruce, Juwan Howard, and the cast from Bernie Mac’s TV show Kellita Smith (who played his wife), Camille Winbrush, and Jeremy Suarez were all present for the very emotional memorial service. Certain fans donned shirts with Bernie Mac’s face on them expressing their true sadness and admiration for him. We can say here that he will truly be missed and sometimes the kind of life you live is evident by the amount of people you touch in a deep way. Rest in peace Bernie Mac.
Rev. Al Sharpton has injected his opinion and perception into the debacle that Jackson caused because of his harsh hater statements against Obama, in which he said he wanted to cut Barack’s nuts off. LOL that still gives us a rib cracking laugh. Well here’s what Sharpton had to say about the situation….
“We have all made mistakes. We have all erred, and we ought not try to sugar coat when we err,” Sharpton told a gathering of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference in this New Orleans suburb.
“But we should not throw away everything when we err, and to say that Rev. Jackson made a mistake is correct, but to act like Rev. Jesse Jackson is not pivotal to our movement, our history … is wrong.”
“Jesse Jackson,” he added, “is somebody.”
In a fiery speech that was part political rally and part big tent revival, Sharpton applauded Obama’s success and promised to do what he could to get him elected. Read the rest of this entry »
The ever so corrupt FoxNews has released information to the Associated Press saying that Rev. Jesse Jackson used the N word while off camera when he criticized Barack Obama and said that he wanted to cut his nuts off.
In additional comments from that same conversation, first reported by TVNewser, Jackson is reported to have said Obama was “talking down to black people,” and referred to blacks with the N-word when he said Obama was telling them “how to behave.”
Jackson — who is traveling in Spain — apologized in a statement Wednesday for “hurtful words” but didn’t offer specifics.
“I am deeply saddened and distressed by the pain and sorrow that I have caused as a result of my hurtful words. I apologize again to Senator Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, their children as well as to the American public,” Jackson said in a written statement. “There really is no justification for my comments and I hope that the Obama family and the American public will forgive me. I also pray that we, as a nation, can move on to address the real issues that affect the American people.”
A spokeswoman for Jackson’s civil rights organization, Rainbow/PUSH Coalition, said she could not confirm that Jackson used the slur.
Mediaoutrage– Well everyone makes mistakes even extremely embarrassing ones.
David Banner spoke to AllHipHop about Jesse Jackson’s harsh comments towards Presidential hopeful Barack Obama in which Jackson said he wanted to cut Obama’s nuts off. Here’s what the always colorful Banner had to say about the situation and media frenzy that has ensued:
“He didn’t literally mean that he wanted to cut Barack’s balls off. So we just need to quit it and move on. This is one of the most important elections in history and we should focus on what’s right and what’s wrong. We’re gonna mess around and let the same thing happen with the last two elections and then we as American people are gonna be sitting up looking stupid with high ass gas prices again and our troops still at war.
I think the thing that we should focus on more is the disconnect between young black people and old black people. And the truth, when it comes down to it, is about what’s right and what’s wrong,
We need to agree on who our leaders are gonna be. When we go through a generation without representation, who’s representing our generation that comes from our generation? Who is speaking out and pushing for policies for our generation? We complain about Jesse Jackson and people like that, but who are we gonna put in those positions? Who’s gonna step up to the forefront and take responsibility?”
Mediaoutrage– Finally someone with some sense to see that the comments were yes very wrong and out of place but he apologized and Barack accepted the apology and has moved on. Way to take the high road David.
