Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would have been 80 years old today had he lived. We just wanted to take the time to recognize one of the greatest humans to ever walk this Earth. Dr. King gave his life for the struggle of freedom and justice. It is ironic that the Inauguration of America’s first Black President will take place just one day after Dr. King’s birthday. We wonder if he would felt that his dream had finally come into fruition. To watch his “I Have A Dream” speech Read the rest of this entry »

Suing his siblings

Dexter King who bears the closest resemblance to his father and great civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. has filed a lawsuit Monday against his brother Martin Luther King III and sister Bernice King. It’s been 40 years today
Posted by Media Outrage on April 4, 2008
April 4th, 1968 one of the greatest human beings to ever walk this earth was assassinated and taken from his family and people. But just as he prophetically said that he might not get to the promise land with us, but that we as a people would get to the promise land. So today we remember a man who walked in love, peace, and brotherhood under the constant threat of death and was an integral part in moving black people from the evil of Jim Crow to the freedom of choices and opportunities that we live in today. We remember Dr. King today.
