Madonna Denies Divorce Settlement Reports

Madonna and Guy Ritchie are denying reports of the $76 million divorce settlement.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie are slamming recent stories about their divorce settlement.

The joint statement – issued in London – came two days after Madonna’s U.S. rep gave the Associated Press details of the supposed deal. Liz Rosenberg said that Madonna, 50, was set to hand over cash and property worth between $76 million and $92 million, calling it “one of the largest [divorce] payouts ever.”

But now the couple calls that information “misleading and inaccurate.”

Guy Ritchie Will Get $75 Million In Divorce

According to Madonna’s spokeswoman, Guy Ritchie will get $75 million in their divorce settlement.

Madonna’s spokeswoman says the singer has settled with ex-husband Guy Ritchie for at least 50 million pounds ($75 million).

Liz Rosenberg told The Associated Press Monday that Madonna has given Ritchie between 50 and 60 million pounds as part of their divorce agreement.

She says the figure includes the value of the couple’s country home Ashcombe in western England.

She adds that while the financial component of the settlement has been worked out, custodial arrangements for the couple’s children have yet to be finalized.

“I’d assume it’s one of the largest payouts ever in a divorce settlement,” Rosenberg said.

A representative for Ritchie declined to comment.

Madonna’s $1 Million Hotel Bill

Yep, that title is correct. Madonna reportedly blew $1 million at a hotel in Argentina last week, so she and her crew could live in luxury during the South American leg of her Sticky+Sweet tour.

The singer spent the incredible sum at the exclusive Four Seasons resort in Buenos Aires, while she performed a string of gigs in the city.
Madonna is said to have splashed out $9,000 (GBP6,160) a night to stay in the hotel’s luxury suite – a private mansion in the grounds – while her 200 backing dancers, singers, make-up artists, choreographers, managers and security took up another 110 rooms, costing a minimum of $600 (GBP410) each.

Madonna is set to break her own record of money grossed on a solo tour. The previous record was $193.7 million on her 2006 Confessions tour. When her current world tour comes to a close, on December 8th, she is expected to rake in more than $282 million. Sheesh. That’s a lot of cake. By the way her tour kicked off in August.
